UCPath Issue: Direct Deposit Changes 12/20/21-02/05/22

UCPath identified an issue that prevented bank confirmation of employee direct deposit changes. This issue began Monday, December 20, and UCPath resolved it Saturday, February 5. 

Impact: 3,824 employees who made direct deposit changes during this period may have received their pay via paper check instead of direct deposit.

UCPath has corrected the issue, and all employee direct deposit changes made from December 20 through February 5 have been sent to employees’ banks for confirmation.

NEW BX Appointment Notification Letter and REQUIRED Membership Election Form

Due to this latest update (see email below) since the graduate advisors are already handling the notification letters which NOW require the student to initial that they have received the union membership election form, it no longer makes sense for AUSS-C to complete this form as part of our onboarding process.  Effective immediately, we are turning this process back over to the departments. Once completed, the completed forms need to be sent to Amy Moore in central Human Resources. 

We will continue to handle the PX union forms upon onboarding as we are currently doing.    

Update: Changes to Background/Live Scan Scheduling

The Background Check policy applies to employees in positions that are designed as critical. These can include career, limited appointment, contract, and casual-restricted (student assistant) employees.
